This critical phase forms part of the ambitious 2.8 billion Euro subsea interconnector project, which is designed to facilitate a bi-directional electricity flow of up to 1.4 gigawatts between the United Kingdom and Germany. The project is on track for operational status by 2028, significantly enhancing the energy transfer capabilities and grid stability of both nations.
