Army Bay Wastewater Treatment Plant Project

We supplied part of the crew that successfully completed the world record setting direct pipe run of 1930m. This incredible run went through two inspection shafts and ended in a deep sea recovery. Our technician’s role was to rebuild slurry pumps which were redesigned midway through the project. Our operator completed the final stage of the run. This was also the first project in which Herrenknecht installed two inline pipe thrusters, creating a total pushing capacity of 1250 tonnes.
