In the Dow compound in Stade, we worked on this important government-sponsored project enhancing the region’s energy network. We completed three micro tunnels with lengths of 12m, 24m, and 48m respectively, alongside a 36m auger crossing. Additionally we completed four pilot drillings, with lengths of 12m, 24m, 48m, and 36m.
We provided three expert TBM operators and two skilled TBM mechanics on this expansive and ambitious project that blends infrastructural excellence and community-building in Dublin. We worked on two micro tunnels of 48m and 89m through challenging bedrock in the invert and sticky clay above. Prioritising high production rate, we adopted a two-shift system – working day and night – and finished ahead of the timeline by two days, completing all tasks in a remarkable 28 days.
We are assisting BESSAC on their joint venture project with La SADE in Paris, helping them to achieve a distance of 980 meters of tunnelling though chalk and clay for DN2500 size pipe.
We successfully completed three tunnels of 240m, 120m and 72m and are currently working on a third of 250m in very wet sand and silt, working in an extremely busy and dense urban environment next to Manhattan’s express rail system.
